The TDI LabJam #2, hosted by SFSU - June 27-28, 2006

Attendees: Cadence, GAP, Kaiser Permanente, SFSU, UCSF, VISA, Wells Fargo and a gaggle of IBM'ers from technical sales, services and development.

Challenge: As with Lab Jam #1, the group was a mix of experienced and new users to TDI. We worked our way on the first day through a series of exercises designed to illuminate the internal clockwork of TDI. Although the pace was brisk for first-time users, there was enough Q&A and repetition-on-request to ensure that transferred skills sank in. Even those with deeper TDI skills came away with a greater understanding (and appreciation) of What Makes TDI Tick.

The second day ended at 5pm, although we could have worked on through the night. As with the previous Lab Jam, there was too little time to go into the specifics of scenarios facing attendees. However, we did cover most topics in enough detail to provide a good starting point for designing and building the desired TDI solutions.
