LDAP browser/editors

Apache Directory Studio

Directory Studio is a very capable LDAP tool based on Eclipse. It needs a Java virtual machine, and can be run using the one distributed with TDI by following some simple setup instructions.

In theory it should be possible to run Directory Studio and TDI in the same Eclipse instance. If you know how to make this work, please add a page to this website explaining how you did it!

jXplorer

JXplorer is an open source ldap browser originally developed by Computer Associates' eTrust Directory development lab. It is written in Java, so it should run on any platform that has a JVM.

LBE

LDAP Browser/Editor appears to be un-maintained at present, though copies of the download file are still available on some sites.

Softerra LDAP Admin

Softerra LDAP Administrator is a paid-for commercial product. There is also a free browser-only version available.
